Gma would have us clean the house from top to bottom, no piece of furniture was left unmoved, or unvacuumed, or unmopped, or undusted. If there was laundry laying around that needed to be laundered and put away. Floors were to be swept and mopped and on rare occasions waxed. Bleach was the enemy to be feared.
